Workday Extend Consultant – Development & Integration

About the role

We are seeking a Workday Extend Consultant to design, develop, and implement custom applications on the Workday Extend platform. The role involves collaborating with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Workday Extend applications, including UI, business logic, and workflows.
• Configure and implement Workday Extend solutions in tenant environments, using Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors as needed.
• Develop integrations with Workday APIs (REST/SOAP) and external systems such as ServiceNow or ERP platforms.
• Perform unit testing, support UAT, troubleshoot issues, and deploy applications across sandbox, implementation, and production tenants.
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders to ensure solutions meet security, data access, and business rule requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing Extend applications, optimizing performance and scalability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of Workday experience with at least 3 years focused on Workday Extend development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
