Windows System Administrator

About the role

The Windows System Administrator will design, implement and maintain resilient Windows‑based infrastructures that support Mouser Electronics’ global operations. You will work closely with business units to recommend new technologies, improve system performance and ensure high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and architect new Windows systems, major updates and large‑scale hardware/software projects.
• Provide expert troubleshooting, resolve complex technical issues and manage escalations with vendors.
• Lead disaster‑recovery design, testing and implementation.
• Analyze system architecture and data flows to propose improvements for business and technical users.
• Produce performance reports and KPI dashboards for management.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with Windows Server environments and server virtualization.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security and cloud technologies.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and mentor junior staff.
• Excellent communication skills with all organizational levels.
• Relevant certifications in server OS, virtualization, networking or security.
