Windows Server & Linux Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Windows Server & Linux Administrator to manage and support our enterprise Windows infrastructure across Bangalore and Chennai. The role involves ensuring system reliability, security, and operational excellence while collaborating with infrastructure, security and application teams.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade and migrate Windows Server 2019/2022 environments.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Objects.
• Maintain patch compliance using WSUS and Windows Update processes.
• Monitor system performance, availability and overall health of the infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot server, OS and application issues and support incident, change and problem management following ITIL practices.
• Manage VMware vSphere virtual machines and perform day‑to‑day virtualization administration.
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell scripting.
• Support vulnerability remediation, security hardening and compliance initiatives using Microsoft Defender and Qualys.

Required profile

• 5–12 years of experience in Windows Server administration.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with WSUS, patch management and VMware vSphere.
• Knowledge of security hardening, vulnerability remediation and ITIL processes.
• Ability to work in large‑scale production environments and document solutions clearly.
