Windows Server Administrator

About the role

The Windows Server Administrator will resolve priority incident tickets and service requests while contributing to incident analysis, change request preparation, and continuous service improvement. The role supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows‑based infrastructure across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, including GPOs, domain and forest upgrades, RODC, replication, and operations master roles.
• Install, configure, and support Microsoft servers, hardware (IBM), backup solutions, and file/print/anti‑virus services.
• Coordinate upgrades and new technology implementations with business units and IT staff.
• Perform patch management, regular directory database backups, and security policy enforcement.
• Administer virtualization platforms (VMware ESX 6.5), Nutanix, Azure & StorSimple, Aspera, Talon, Citrix XenApp, AWS, and Citrix NetScaler.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in Windows Server administration.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and Windows OS internals.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and manage complex server environments.
