Welder – Steel Melting Shop (5-6 yrs experience)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our Steel Melting Shop in Jalna. The role involves performing welding, fabrication and maintenance tasks on SMS equipment, structures and pipelines, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute welding and fabrication work according to drawings and job specifications.
• Perform repair welding on SMS equipment, structures, and pipelines.
• Maintain welding quality and adhere to safety regulations.
• Assist during maintenance shutdowns and emergency repairs.
• Maintain tools and follow established safety practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on welding experience in a Steel Melting Shop (SMS) environment.
• ITI or Certified Welder qualification preferred.
• Physically fit to work on a shop floor under industrial conditions.

Required skills

• Welding (various industrial techniques).
• Fabrication.
• Repair welding on SMS equipment and pipelines.
• Knowledge of industrial welding techniques used in steel plants.
