Waiter / Waitress – Guest Service Role

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Hyatt Regency Kochi as a Waiter/Waitress, delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. You will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring every guest receives personalized, courteous, and efficient service.

Key responsibilities

• Host and serve guests, creating memorable dining experiences.
• Take orders, recommend food and beverage pairings, and upsell where appropriate.
• Handle cash and credit‑card transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Monitor and replenish operating supplies, minimizing waste and spoilage.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the assigned service area.
• Report guest complaints or issues to supervisors and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and professional appearance.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel or restaurant operations.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and collaborate with all hotel departments.
