Volunteer Coordinator (Part‑time, Remote)

About the role

The Volunteer Coordinator is a part‑time, fully remote position responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting volunteers who work on cultural and event‑related projects. You will ensure volunteers understand their responsibilities, stay engaged, and have a positive experience throughout each initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers.
• Schedule volunteer shifts, track participation, and maintain clear timelines.
• Develop and deliver basic volunteer training sessions.
• Provide ongoing guidance, answer questions, and resolve concerns.
• Collaborate with project leads to align volunteer activities with event and cultural program needs.
• Promote volunteer opportunities through digital channels and community networks.
• Prepare regular reports on volunteer engagement and feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong volunteer management and training experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven community‑outreach skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with cultural projects, events, or nonprofit initiatives is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Spanish language skills and knowledge of Chile’s cultural sector are advantageous.
