Vice President, Technology Audit – Internal Audit

About the role

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President to join its Internal Audit team in Bengaluru, focusing on technology and risk engineering audits. As part of the third line of defense, you will independently assess the firm’s control environment, evaluate risk measurement systems, and ensure the effectiveness of technology controls that support regulatory and internal reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and execute technology‑focused audits covering data quality, calculation processes, metric generation, and application stability.
• Provide assurance on the accuracy and reliability of risk measurement and reporting systems used for market, liquidity, credit, model, and operational risk.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to local and global management, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including risk management, cyber‑security, finance, and engineering, to enhance audit techniques and analytical procedures.
• Support the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and Risk Committee in fulfilling oversight responsibilities.
