Vendor Onboarding Associate – Procurement Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to lead vendor onboarding within our Procurement Operations team. The role involves managing the full onboarding lifecycle, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting stakeholders across procurement, finance, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end vendor onboarding, including document collection, verification, due diligence, and system registration.
• Coordinate with vendors via calls, emails, and meetings to meet onboarding timelines.
• Maintain vendor master data accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Utilise SAP MM and SaaS‑based procurement platforms for master data management.
• Resolve onboarding issues and provide operational support to internal teams.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and performance trackers using Excel and other reporting tools.
• Analyse onboarding metrics, generate insights, and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure timely support.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in vendor onboarding, procurement operations, or supplier management.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP MM and SaaS procurement platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to develop dashboards, produce MIS reports, and perform data analysis.
