US Accountant – NetSuite

About the role

We are seeking an experienced US Accountant with hands‑on expertise in Oracle NetSuite to support our US‑based clients. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and delivering accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting for US entities using Oracle NetSuite.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, pre‑payments, deferred revenue, and expense adjustments.
• Handle advance customer payments, recognize revenue over the service period, and manage deferred revenue.
• Process prepaid and deferred expenses, ensuring proper expense recognition.
• Maintain asset and lease amortization schedules.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare and review balance sheet, profit & loss, general ledger, and supporting schedules.
• Perform bank, balance‑sheet, and other account reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective accounting entries.
• Collaborate closely with US finance teams and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of overall accounting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of US accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with Oracle NetSuite.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, revenue and expense recognition, and month‑end/year‑end processes.
