UI/UX Software Developer – Metrologic DCS

About the role

Sandvik’s Metrologic Group is seeking an experienced UI/UX Specialist to shape the user experience of its Digital Manufacturing Suite, including the next‑generation MLM platform, Metrolog Suite and 3DCS software. You will work closely with product, engineering and customer teams to turn complex industrial workflows into intuitive, customer‑centric interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve UX strategy for the MLM platform, creating end‑to‑end user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and interaction models.
• Design modern, responsive UI concepts and develop reusable components for a unified design system across Metrolog Suite products.
• Analyze manufacturing, inspection and quality management workflows and translate them into clear, efficient user experiences.
• Conduct user research, usability testing and incorporate feedback to continuously improve the platform.

Required profile

• 5 + years of experience designing UX/UI for complex B2B or industrial software.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer applications or equivalent.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating workflow optimization and UI design capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English.
