Senior Specialist - Customer Experience Designer

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist in Customer Experience Design to join its data and services product development team in Pune. The role focuses on creating data‑driven digital experiences for B2B and B2B2C products, leveraging AI and machine learning while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design proof‑of‑concepts and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) using human‑centric design, Lean UX and Design Thinking.
• Lead and participate in Design Thinking workshops with cross‑functional teams, industry verticals, regional leads and end‑users.
• Explore innovative possibilities in Big Data, AI and ML to shape next‑generation data products.
• Contribute to and extend Mastercard’s design pattern library.
• Create cohesive visual language across web, mobile and IoT form factors, including dashboards, widgets, chatbots, VUI voice interfaces and digital assistants.
• Collaborate with brand, marketing and technology teams to define implementation standards and deliver delightful transactional experiences.

Required profile

• Senior‑level UX/Interaction Designer with proven experience in data‑driven design.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application to user experience.
• Experience designing for B2B and B2B2C environments.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, iterative prototyping cycles and incorporate user feedback.
