Title Curative Specialist

About the role

The Title Curative Specialist examines property titles, identifies potential problems or discrepancies, and works to resolve them. This involves researching public records, communicating with lenders, attorneys, and property owners, and taking necessary steps to clear any issues that could affect the title.

Key responsibilities

• Review title documents and conduct title searches to identify defects or issues.
• Collaborate with attorneys, lenders, and other parties to resolve title problems.
• Obtain missing or corrected documents required for clearing title issues.
• Communicate updates on title clearance progress to clients or stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to property titles.

Required skills

• Excellent written communication with accurate grammar and punctuation.
• Professional email etiquette and ability to respond to client emails effectively.
• Fluent verbal English with a neutral accent.
• Strong analytical and cognitive abilities.
• High attention to detail.
• Typing speed of at least 30 wpm and ability to speak clearly over the phone.
