Test Lead – Regulatory Reporting (Finrep)

About the role

Lead the data validation and testing team in defining and executing data‑issue test strategies for regulatory reporting projects. The primary objective is to manage a multi‑value‑stream testing team, build and approve test cases, conduct end‑to‑end testing and obtain sign‑off.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies, plans and frameworks for FINREP data projects.
• Build, review and approve test cases, execute end‑to‑end testing and deliver exit reports.
• Drive risk mitigation, contingency planning and business‑readiness assessments for data issue remediation.
• Report progress, risks and issues to senior management and governance forums.
• Partner with program workstreams, IT and external vendors to ensure technical deliverables meet regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with the overall FINREP data lead to align test strategies and delivery accountability.

Required profile

• Proven stakeholder‑management and team‑leadership experience in dynamic, multi‑regional environments.
• Track record of delivering change within services organisations while adhering to regulatory and compliance imperatives.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to define test approaches, scenarios and test cases for regulatory systems and applications.
