Territory Manager – Rural Mass Retail

About the role

The Territory Manager will lead the prepaid business across a rural mass‑retail network, driving market share, revenue growth and the execution of the go‑to‑market strategy. You will be the frontline liaison between the company, distributors, retailers and field sales executives.

Key responsibilities

• Expand the SIM and data selling outlets in the assigned territory while ensuring existing customers receive excellent service.
• Analyse market demographics and tailor sales strategies to distinct customer segments.
• Monitor and improve channel profitability and retailer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and field sales executives through regular engagement.
• Enhance partner value through systematic marketing and merchandising initiatives.
• Produce market intelligence reports on customer trends and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with the network team to understand and improve mobile network performance in the region.

Required profile

• Full‑time graduate; MBA or PGDM preferred.
• 1‑4 years of sales experience, preferably in telecom or FMCG.
• Strong execution, collaboration and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Excellent consultation, facilitation and selling skills.
• Enterprising mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders.
