Telephone Operator

About the role

The Telephone Operator supports the front‑office team at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional telephone and check‑in/out assistance. This role combines customer service, cash handling, and coordination with multiple hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Answer guest inquiries, resolve issues quickly, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Handle cash transactions, perform cash drops, and record all cash movements accurately.
• Keep the Team Leader and Assistant Manager informed of operational matters throughout the shift.
• Maintain the Front Office log book, shift reports, and records of banquet and function bookings.
• Facilitate smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, ensuring a friendly guest experience.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Finance, and other departments to resolve day‑to‑day operational issues.
• Adhere to the hotel’s Procedures & Standards Manual and proactively suggest service improvements.
