Telemarketing Agent

About the role

Squaristic Media is seeking a full‑time Telemarketing Agent to join its Pune office. In this role you will be the first point of contact with prospective and existing clients, promoting the company’s content‑driven marketing services and generating qualified leads for the sales and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospects and existing clients following approved scripts.
• Qualify leads, handle objections, and schedule follow‑up meetings for senior sales staff.
• Accurately record prospect information and call outcomes in the company’s CRM system.
• Achieve daily and weekly call volume and lead‑generation targets.
• Provide regular updates to supervisors on call performance and lead status.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing colleagues to refine messaging and improve campaign effectiveness.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Basic sales and lead‑generation skills, including objection handling.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with active listening and empathy.
• Comfortable working on‑site in Pune and managing time to meet performance targets.
• Prior experience in telemarketing, inside sales, or contact‑center environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
• Minimum high‑school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field is beneficial.
