Technical Project Manager – Server Development

About the role

Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group is looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead server development projects in Bangalore. You will work with global engineering teams to design and deliver customized server platforms for cloud datacenter environments, ensuring customer needs are met throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware, electrical, mechanical, firmware, BIOS and BMC teams worldwide to define project scope, schedule and budget.
• Develop detailed project plans, statements of work and risk mitigation strategies.
• Drive execution of multiple server platform projects in parallel, reporting status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage change control, issue escalation and quality validation activities.
• Define and track program KPIs, metrics and dashboards using data‑driven tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven experience managing technology‑focused product development projects.
• Broad understanding of system‑level server technologies and datacenter requirements.
• Strong ability to identify, track and mitigate program risks.

Required skills

• Hardware, electrical and mechanical engineering concepts.
• Firmware, BIOS and BMC development knowledge.
• Risk, issue and change management processes.
• Data‑driven program management using Excel and Power BI.
• AI and automation enablement within project workflows.
