Technical Lead - IoT

About the role

The Technical Lead will join Alfa Laval's IoT Development Team to design and deliver IoT solutions that enable remote support, data visualization, and performance analytics for Alfa Laval products. You will work closely with developers, product owners, delivery leads, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to turn business needs into robust, secure software.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design, solution definition, and estimation activities, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, testing practices, and promotion of engineering best practices.
• Collaborate across teams to manage dependencies, align solutions, and ensure efficient delivery.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including implementation, deployment, maintenance, and operational handover.
• Remain hands‑on in software development, solving technical problems where your expertise adds the most value.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years of hands‑on C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong background in designing and delivering backend or distributed systems.
• Experience mentoring developers and driving technical progress within a team.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and manage technical dependencies.
