Team Manager - Digitalization

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Team Manager to lead our digital product teams in Bangalore, driving Epiroc’s global digitalization initiatives. The role involves building high‑performing Agile software engineering teams and delivering high‑quality digital solutions aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build, scale and mentor high‑performing software engineering teams, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
• Guide Agile, Scrum and DevOps practices, ensuring effective sprint planning, backlog refinement and incremental value delivery.
• Act as a servant leader and coach, removing impediments, managing cross‑team dependencies and facilitating stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate with global Product Owners to translate business goals into actionable product backlogs and delivery outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership, challenge assumptions, support architectural decisions and incorporate emerging technologies such as AI.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, delivering clear progress updates, risk visibility and data‑driven insights.
• Oversee budgets, resource allocation and project timelines to meet delivery commitments.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading software engineering or digital product teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor, develop careers and foster a culture of psychological safety.
• Technical insight to guide solution direction and architectural discussions.
