Tax Consultant – Indirect Tax & TMT (New Delhi)

About the role

EY is seeking a Tax Consultant to join its Indirect Tax and TMT practice in New Delhi. You will support client engagements by delivering tax compliance and advisory services while ensuring high‑quality, timely deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client engagements professionally, adhering to contract terms and client expectations.
• Prepare and file individual tax returns and e‑TDS returns.
• Draft submissions and represent clients before tax authorities.
• Advise on outbound/inbound structuring, immigration, and provident‑fund matters for expatriates.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to deliver comprehensive tax solutions and maintain electronic working papers.
• Analyze data to produce accurate tax advisory and compliance outputs.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and uphold firm methodologies.

Required profile

• Certified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0‑1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
• Enthusiastic self‑starter and effective team player.
• Good time‑management and attention to detail.
