Tax Consultant – Global Compliance & Reporting (New Delhi)

About the role

EY is seeking a Tax Consultant to join its Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team in New Delhi. You will work with a national, sector‑agnostic group delivering comprehensive tax solutions to multinational clients, helping them navigate complex tax policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous interaction with clients, manage expectations and ensure outstanding service.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to deliver end‑to‑end tax compliance and advisory solutions.
• Represent EY in assessments and tribunal appeals at the CIT/ITAT level.
• Research complex tax theory, case law and transfer‑pricing issues, and produce opinion papers.
• Prepare accurate tax compliance deliverables within budget and timelines.
• Identify exposure areas, devise information‑gathering plans and communicate findings to clients.
• Provide high‑quality work products that exceed client expectations.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in domestic or international tax, transfer pricing, litigation, tax compliance or advisory.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
• Practical problem‑solving approach and strong analytical mindset.
