Tax Consultant – Global Compliance & Reporting (Mumbai)

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Consultant to join our Global Compliance & Reporting team in Mumbai. You will support client engagements by preparing and filing tax returns, representing clients before tax authorities, and advising on employee mobility structures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual tax returns and e‑TDS returns.
• Draft submissions and represent clients before tax authorities.
• Advise on outbound/inbound structuring for employee movements, including immigration and provident fund considerations for expatriates.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to deliver comprehensive tax solutions and ensure work follows firm methodologies and professional standards.
• Utilise electronic working papers and relevant software to conduct research and produce accurate tax deliverables.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
• 0–1 year of relevant tax experience.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Enthusiastic self‑starter with good time‑management and teamwork skills.
