Target Costing Specialist (XC)

About the role

The Target Costing Specialist will focus on analysing electronic components to identify cost‑reduction opportunities and develop actionable strategies. Working closely with cross‑functional teams across Europe and India, you will help drive measurable savings while supporting Bosch’s product development goals.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse electronic parts and assemblies to determine cost drivers.
• Develop and propose cost‑reduction measures and implementation strategies.
• Coordinate with module teams, component engineering, purchasing, and plant operations to execute cost‑saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in multiple regions (EU, IN) to ensure alignment and successful rollout.
• Report progress and results to XC_SYN management.

Required profile

• B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• 6–8 years of experience in electronic component cost analysis or related engineering roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for multi‑regional stakeholder coordination.
