SW Architect – Airbag

About the role

We are looking for a Software Architect specialized in airbag systems to lead the design and development of safety-critical automotive software. The role involves shaping the architecture, ensuring compliance with dependability standards, and guiding cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform requirements engineering and develop high-level and low-level designs.
• Review system and software test specifications and ensure alignment with architecture.
• Communicate architecture decisions to stakeholders and moderate Change Control Board meetings.
• Analyze and verify compliance with dependability and safety requirements.
• Mentor software leads, engineers and test teams.
• Support project estimation, planning and technical risk assessment.
• Drive complex debugging, root-cause analysis and issue resolution.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in embedded automotive software development.
• BE degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electronics or Instrumentation.
• Proven experience on large-scale projects and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
