Sustainability Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our consulting practice and help clients develop and implement ESG strategies, sustainability reporting, decarbonisation pathways and data‑driven sustainability solutions. The role combines client interaction, research, solution design and hands‑on implementation using modern analytics and digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to capture sustainability objectives and translate them into solution approaches.
• Research and analyse sustainability trends, regulations and industry best practices.
• Prepare proposals, business cases and recommendations for ESG initiatives.
• Gather and document business requirements, user stories, process flows and functional specifications.
• Support ESG reporting and compliance aligned with frameworks such as GRI, CSRD, BRSR, TCFD, CDP and SASB/ISSB.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver data‑management and analytics solutions.
• Define, monitor and report sustainability KPIs and business value metrics.
• Conduct demos, workshops, proof‑of‑concepts and client presentations.
• Assist in effort estimation and project planning.
• Mentor junior consultants on ESG concepts and data management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in sustainability consulting, ESG reporting and data‑driven sustainability projects.

Required skills

• Power BI or Tableau for data visualisation.
• Python for analytics and automation.
