RO Service Technician

About the role

The RO Service Technician will be based in Namakkal and will install, inspect, and maintain reverse osmosis water purification systems at customer sites. This full‑time, on‑site position involves routine servicing, filter replacements, and troubleshooting to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled service visits, install and commission RO units, and replace filters as required.
• Diagnose technical faults, carry out repairs, and document service activities in company records.
• Interact with customers to explain maintenance performed, provide basic operating guidance, and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
• Support inventory management by checking spare parts stock and assisting with basic procurement.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to identify root causes of system issues.
• Effective communication skills for clear customer interaction and documentation.
• Customer‑service orientation with professional on‑site conduct.
• Basic sales and finance awareness to suggest service plans or handle simple billing queries.
• Hands‑on experience or training in RO or water‑treatment systems, plumbing, or related technical fields.
• Willingness to travel locally in Namakkal and perform physical tasks such as lifting equipment.
• Attention to safety procedures and quality standards when working with water and electrical components.
• Minimum high school diploma; technical certification is a plus.
