Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Responsible – Verification

About the role

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Responsible to lead and develop our SQA team. The role involves overseeing supplier qualification, managing quality during new product launches, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Supplier Quality Assurance team, handling performance management.
• Oversee supplier qualification, evaluation and approval for new and existing suppliers.
• Drive Advanced Supplier Quality activities during product launches and industrialisation.
• Review and approve PPAP documentation in collaboration with engineering, program management and plant quality.
• Conduct supplier process, system and product audits according to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3 or other applicable standards.
• Implement and verify containment, corrective and preventive actions for supplier quality issues.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as PPM, on‑time PPAP, audit scores, cost of poor quality and responsiveness.
• Develop and execute supplier improvement plans and ensure compliance with customer‑specific and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in customer, certification and cross‑functional quality audits.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering with a focus on quality.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an SQA in an industrial/automotive environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in French and English.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, Core Quality Tools.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3 standards and automotive customer requirements.
