Supplier Development Manager

About the role

Airbus India is seeking an experienced Supplier Development Manager to drive continuous improvement across its supply chain. The role focuses on enhancing quality, delivery, cost and productivity of suppliers in aerospace and automotive manufacturing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supply‑chain improvement projects that target QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) objectives.
• Implement Lean‑Six Sigma methodologies, value‑stream mapping and APQP to raise supplier performance.
• Conduct PFMEA, SPC, MSA and root‑cause analyses, delivering corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Manage supplier audits, PPAP and Run‑at‑Rate activities to ensure compliance with Airbus standards.
• Develop and maintain digital dashboards (Google Sheets, Google Data Studio, Excel) for real‑time performance tracking.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams to integrate suppliers into the broader value chain.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of experience in aerospace, defense or automotive manufacturing quality assurance.
• Proven track record with Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) and APQP implementation.
• Strong project‑management and risk‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
