Student Warden (Female) – Residential Life

About the role

The University seeks a dedicated Student Warden to oversee the residential campus community. This position serves as the primary point of contact for student residents, ensuring their welfare, safety, and compliance with university policies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for personal, disciplinary, or accommodation-related concerns of student residents.
• Provide support to students adapting to campus life and maintain a visible presence in the residence.
• Enforce university rules and regulations related to hostel and residential life.
• Address incidents of misconduct or conflict promptly and report to appropriate authorities.
• Monitor entry/exit records, visitor logs, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with campus security for emergency preparedness and response.
• Maintain fire safety equipment, CCTV surveillance, and accessible emergency exits.
• Keep updated records of resident students, room allocations, and leave/outpass logs.
• Submit regular reports on student issues, disciplinary actions, and maintenance needs.
• Assist with hostel admission, allotment, and exit formalities in coordination with administration.
