Strong Authentication Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Strong Authentication Engineer to design, implement and maintain secure access solutions across our enterprise environment. The role focuses on multi‑factor authentication, single sign‑on, identity and access management and emerging password‑less technologies, ensuring seamless and protected user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage MFA, SSO, IAM and related security solutions across enterprise systems.
• Support modern authentication methods such as Windows Hello for Business, certificate‑based authentication, TOTP, push notifications, passkeys and FIDO.
• Maintain Radius AAA, SAML, OAuth integrations and ensure compliance with PKI, cryptography best practices and ISMS controls.
• Deploy and manage reverse proxies, Active Directory, Azure DevOps, Docker containers and cloud infrastructure components relevant to authentication services.
• Automate tasks, monitor performance and generate operational reports using PowerShell and KQL.
• Diagnose authentication issues with tools like Postman and Fiddler, and optimise IAM solutions for scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and enhance authentication security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, authentication security or IT operations.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, IAM protocols, MFA, SSO and cryptographic standards.
