Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper manages warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory records and the proper receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of raw materials, packaging, spare parts, and finished products to support uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and specifications.
• Record all stock movements in the inventory management system, including receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
• Maintain organized storage areas with proper labeling and segregation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production to avoid shortages or excess.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO principles where appropriate and conduct regular stock counts.
• Investigate discrepancies and report damaged, expired, missing, or slow‑moving stock.
• Prepare periodic inventory reports and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Indian nationality preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• 2‑4 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Experience with inventory management systems and ERP platforms, preferably Odoo.
• Strong knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory reconciliation.
• Ability to organize warehouse space and handle materials efficiently.
• Computer proficiency and basic reporting/data analysis.
