Steward – Full‑time Café Support (Mumbai)

About the role

GREENR is looking for a dedicated Steward to join its plant‑based café in Mumbai. This full‑time, on‑site position supports daily operations by maintaining a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining and kitchen areas.
• Organise and replenish service stations, ensuring dishes, cutlery and glassware are washed, dried and stored correctly.
• Assist the Food & Beverage and service teams during busy periods by clearing tables, resetting covers and helping with basic food‑service tasks.
• Follow all safety and sanitation standards and handle equipment responsibly.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to keep café operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Hands‑on interest or experience in food‑service environments, preferably cafés or restaurants.
• Ability to learn and follow hygiene, safety and standard operating procedures.
• Attention to detail, organization and the ability to stand for long periods.
• Positive, respectful attitude toward a plant‑based, sustainability‑focused concept.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (preferred).
