Statutory Reporting Manager – Centre of Excellence

About the role

Join Mastercard’s Statutory Centre of Excellence in Pune to lead global statutory reporting and external audit coordination. You will manage a team of finance professionals, ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and SOX, and drive high‑quality financial statements across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Director, Statutory COE in preparing financial statements and audit requests.
• Maintain bridge files to reconcile differences between US GAAP and local accounting frameworks or IFRS.
• Oversee year‑end accounting activities and resolve cross‑departmental issues.
• Ensure SOX compliance and implement control improvements for financial reporting.
• Coordinate external audits, working closely with KPMG, PwC and internal controllership teams.
• Manage audit data, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with a solid finance background in statutory accounting.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to build cross‑functional relationships and drive projects to completion.
• Energetic, intellectually curious and a "can‑do" attitude.
