Staff Software Engineer - Mobile

About the role

Intuit is looking for a Staff Software Engineer – Mobile to help expand its platform and deliver exceptional digital experiences to millions of users. You will work within the Global Business Solutions group, turning customer insights into high‑impact mobile solutions while mentoring a small team of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Create mobile experiences based on deep customer empathy, producing mockups, wireframes, and proof‑of‑concept code.
• Act as the technical subject‑matter expert, guiding junior engineers and leading a small team through complex design and programming challenges.
• Identify and implement AI‑driven enhancements, launch AI integrations into production, and measure their impact on performance and user satisfaction.
• Mentor engineers on best practices, AI integration techniques, and software engineering standards.

Required profile

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience building large‑scale, consumer‑facing mobile applications.
• Strong ability to work in ambiguous environments, take initiative, and solve difficult problems.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• iOS development: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit
• Android development: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK
• Web services: REST, SOAP
• Unit testing and Test‑Driven Development (TDD)
• AI integration and performance monitoring
• Software design/architecture and full SDLC experience
