Staff Nurse – Patient Care

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, supporting recovery, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with doctors and allied health professionals to plan and execute patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure bedside care standards.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing with first‑division marks in 10th and 12th.
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, teamwork orientation, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Initiative, coordination skills, and the ability to support patients physically and morally.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for documentation and hospital information systems.
