Staff Nurse – Patient Care & Clinical Support

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality bedside care, supporting patients and families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication and treatment as prescribed.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Deliver bedside care, including hygiene, mobility assistance and wound management.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a qualification in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills and effective listening.
• Ability to work well in a team, coordinate tasks and communicate clearly.
• Initiative, moral support and a compassionate physical approach to patient care.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Operation of medical equipment.
