About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients across various departments, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting patient recovery and education.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer prescribed medication and treatment procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care diagnostic tests as required.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for each patient.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes promptly.
• Provide support and health education to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of nursing supplies and equipment.
• Deliver bedside care, including hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
• Attend regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
• Effective listening and communication abilities.
• Team‑building and coordination capabilities.
• Initiative and moral support for patients.
• Physical approach to patient care with empathy.

Required skills
