Staff Nurse – Obstetrics, Gynecology & Pediatrics

About the role

Motherhood, a leading specialty hospital chain in India, is seeking a full‑time Staff Nurse to join its Bengaluru facility. The role involves direct patient care across obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology and paediatrics, supporting women and children throughout their health journey.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, administer medications and assist with obstetric and paediatric procedures.
• Provide bedside care during labour, delivery and post‑natal periods, as well as neonatal and paediatric care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.
• Follow infection‑control, safety and hospital protocols at all times.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post‑natal care and child health.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe, efficient ward environment.

Required profile

• Recognised nursing qualification (B.Sc Nursing or GNM) with valid registration.
• Clinical experience in obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology or paediatrics preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and manage multiple patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient‑centred, ethical practice and confidentiality.
