Staff Nurse

About the role

The hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to deliver high‑quality patient care, administer prescribed medications, and support clinical teams across various departments. This position involves direct patient interaction, coordination with physicians, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medication and monitor patient responses.
• Provide nursing care in line with established clinical practice standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Participate actively in quality‑improvement programs and continuous quality assurance activities.
• Maintain a safe environment by implementing infection‑control policies and managing biomedical waste.
• Conduct initial patient assessments and timely reassessments.
• Monitor daily inventory of medicines and equipment.
• Deliver pre‑ and post‑operative care according to hospital protocols.
• Provide health education to patients as needed.
• Supervise IV‑class staff in routine patient care tasks and ensure proper documentation.
• Prioritize emergency cases and coordinate with consultants and relevant departments.

Required profile

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing.
• Adherence to the specified dress code and possession of a valid ID card.
• Willingness to work duty hours as scheduled.
