Consultant Gynecologist

About the role

The Consultant Gynecologist will deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care in obstetrics and gynecology at KANISHK Surgical & Super Specialty Hospital. The role includes patient consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow‑up, with a focus on evidence‑based, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform gynecologic and obstetric surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures.
• Manage routine and high‑risk pregnancies from admission to delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during ward rounds, case discussions, and clinical meetings.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital seminars.

Required profile

• Recognized MBBS degree and postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent).
• Valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Experience in a multi‑specialty or tertiary care hospital setting.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Dehradun with flexibility for emergencies.
