Staff Foreman

About the role
The Staff Foreman will oversee daily mining activities related to limestone supply, ensuring that excavation, transport and crushing operations meet the plant’s quality and quantity requirements. This role coordinates surface mining, overburden removal and road maintenance while monitoring productivity and compliance with statutory regulations. The position reports to the Mine Manager and collaborates closely with the operations team to guarantee safe and efficient execution of mining processes.
Key responsibilities
- Execute excavation, transporting and crushing activities to supply limestone according to plant demand.
- Develop and maintain mine faces, haul roads and benches in line with the Mine Plan and statutory requirements.
- Monitor productivity and implement corrective actions to optimise mining costs.
- Coordinate overburden removal to prepare surfaces for drilling and blasting.
