Sr UX Designer II

About the role

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to shape intuitive, data‑rich enterprise platforms used by research communities worldwide. You will lead the design of the Editor Relationship Management System and its portal, built on Salesforce Experience Cloud, delivering end‑to‑end user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, engineering and editorial stakeholders to define scope, user needs and workflows.
• Design and iterate information architecture, user flows and high‑fidelity prototypes using Figma.
• Produce UI specifications and new design components that align with the Elsevier design system.
• Conduct user research, testing and analytics to validate designs and measure post‑launch impact.
• Develop migration strategies for existing editorial workflows and support continuous delivery.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of experience designing enterprise, data‑intensive platforms.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑moving, cross‑functional teams and thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, low‑ego mindset.
• Experience with academic or editorial user groups is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma for wire‑framing, prototyping and high‑fidelity design.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and related design systems (e.g., Graphene).
• Deep knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) and ability to produce compliant designs.
• Expertise in user research, usability testing and data‑driven design iteration.
