Specialist - SAP Fiori / UI5 Developer

About the role

The Specialist will translate business requirements into intuitive, accessible, and scalable SAP Fiori experiences that follow design guidelines and UI/UX best practices for both web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, functional experts, and business stakeholders throughout the design process to drive user adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prototype Fiori apps using Figma, creating wireframes, component libraries, and developer hand‑off assets.
• Ensure all Fiori applications adhere to SAP Fiori design guidelines, floorplans, and SAPUI5 controls.
• Plan and conduct user workshops, research sessions, and usability testing, translating findings into design decisions.
• Create user flows, information architecture, and interaction designs for CRUD, search, filter, sort, and approval workflows.
• Develop UI layouts for SAP BTP Work Zone, SAP S/4HANA Launchpad, and role‑based SAPUI5 web/mobile apps.
• Work with OData‑driven UIs, Smart Controls, and the SAP Fiori Adaptation Framework.
• Apply custom theming (SAP Quartz/Horizon) and support light/dark mode considerations.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams using Azure DevOps and Git‑based workflows.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of professional UI/UX design experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and component libraries.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori design guidelines, floorplans (Overview Page, List Report, Object Page, Worklist, Analytical List Page) and Freestyle apps.
• Understanding of front‑end fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, basic JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with SAPUI5 developers.
• Experience planning user workshops, conducting research, and performing usability testing.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x), color contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen‑reader support.
