Solutions Architect - India

About the role

Cursor is looking for a Solutions Architect to help leading engineering organisations adopt AI‑native software development. This post‑sale, technical role is embedded in strategic enterprise accounts, working directly with engineering teams to design, roll out and scale high‑impact workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Configure environments, design workflows and run hands‑on enablement sessions for engineering teams.
• Drive adoption of Cursor across strategic engineering groups, expanding usage from isolated pilots to company‑wide deployment.
• Partner with customers to shape rollout strategies, governance and AI‑assisted development at scale.
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering and customer success to unblock progress and deliver measurable engineering outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, strategic planning discussions and executive briefings.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in software engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering or developer tooling.
• Experience in customer‑facing technical roles such as Solution Architect, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager or Enterprise Architect.
• Ability to work hands‑on with developers while influencing technical leadership and strategy.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• High ownership, execution drive and comfort with fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
