About the role

Join Philips as a Software Technologist specializing in C++. You will work within a collaborative software team, contributing to full‑stack development, testing, and deployment of health‑technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in end‑to‑end software development, pairing with teammates and handling moderately complex tasks.
• Lead design efforts in specific technical areas, providing guidance on best practices.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit, integration, and system testing.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards and promote continuous improvement.
• Support DevOps activities, monitor performance metrics, and help deploy software releases.
• Diagnose and resolve software defects by analyzing logs and reproducing issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as architecture diagrams and API specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, IT or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in software development, design, testing or quality assurance.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve medium‑complexity requests independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C++ programming.
• Experience with Agile methodology and SDLC.
• Version control systems (e.g., Git).
