Software Engineer - Test Automation

About the role

Veeva Systems is looking for a Software Engineer specializing in test automation to join its Automation Engineering team in Hyderabad. You will work on the Veeva Vault platform, building and maintaining automation scripts that support seamless releases for cloud‑based life‑sciences applications.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and understand the features of the Veeva Vault platform and its applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for API and UI testing.
• Use CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins and JIRA on a daily basis.
• Provide timely status updates and coordinate with development and automation teams to resolve issues.
• Perform peer code reviews and suggest optimisations.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in software test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Java and object‑oriented programming.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Java programming.
• Git, Jenkins and JIRA for CI/CD.
• API testing with RestAssured.
• Selenium for UI automation.
