Software Engineer (Localization Automation & CI/CD)

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑to‑senior Software Engineer to own and evolve localization automation and CI/CD pipelines for phone, PC, and tablet products. You will ensure that UI strings, app content, and resource files are ready for global release across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and process UI strings and resource files for localization across phone, PC, and tablet.
• Operate and extend localization tooling, writing thin Python or Shell wrappers as needed.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) that drive end‑to‑end localization workflows.
• Author and maintain Jenkins jobs and GitHub Actions for string extraction, validation, builds, and delivery.
• Collaborate with linguists, product managers, and platform engineers to integrate localized assets.
• Resolve encoding, formatting, layout, and platform‑specific issues on Windows, Ubuntu, Android, and iOS.
• Use Git/Gerrit daily for branching, merging, conflict resolution, and pull‑request management.
• Apply AI‑assisted tools to accelerate scripting, debugging, and documentation.
• (Senior) Mentor team members and help define L10n engineering standards.

Required profile

• Mid‑to‑senior level experience in software engineering.
• Strong command‑line proficiency (Python, Shell/Bash, PowerShell).
• Hands‑on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and Gerrit.
• Ability to troubleshoot CI, tooling, API, and data‑layer failures independently.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams (linguists, PMs, platform engineers).
