Software Engineer – Java, Spring Boot & SaaS

About the role

Celonis is looking for a Software Engineer to enhance its on-premise Process Mining application and help customers transition to the cloud-based Celonis Platform SaaS solution. You will work on a team that owns the full product lifecycle, from investigation to delivery, while supporting a global, distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full on-premises product lifecycle, including investigation, implementation, building, and delivery to customers.
• Support and maintain project stability and security, update dependencies, and implement new standards and protocols.
• Continuously increase software reliability.
• Assist on-premises customers in migrating to the modern cloud-based Celonis Platform.
• Improve and automate development processes.
• Mentor teammates and help define an inclusive engineering culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3-6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Familiarity with geographically distributed work environments.
• Ability to address enterprise challenges such as security, compliance, scalability, and data consistency.
• Strong programming and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with microservices-based distributed systems.
• Analytical mindset with understanding of complex data structures and algorithms.
