Software Engineer - Java Development

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer specialized in Java development to join our team in Thane, Mumbai. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining enterprise‑grade applications, primarily within the banking domain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Java‑based applications using Core and Advanced Java.
• Implement and consume SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Integrate messaging solutions with JMS and handle JSON/XML payloads.
• Deploy applications on containers such as JBoss, WebLogic, WAS, and Apache Tomcat.
• Collaborate with UI teams to incorporate jQuery and Bootstrap components.
• Work with relational databases including Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Apply Spring frameworks (MVC, JDBC, Security, Batch, Boot) and Hibernate/Struts for data persistence.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Prior exposure to the banking sector is preferred.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, OOP concepts, and design patterns.
• Ability to configure and optimize application servers and containers.
